With hundreds of people walking on your office floor every now and then, it is not impossible that dirt and debris could get stuck on it. The question remains, however: when do you sweep and when do you scrub?
Some Factors to Consider
Whether you would sweep or scrub actually depends on a number of factors. For one, you need to determine the size of the dirt and any other particles that get dragged through your floor on a daily basis. If you are dealing with light and dry dirt and debris, it is recommended that you just do regular sweeping of your office floor.
The same goes if you are dealing with wet dirt and debris, although, if you have tiled flooring, you might also have to mop your floor afterwards. Now, if you are dealing with oil or grease, or if you have a lot of floor marks, you should consider having it scrubbed. If the oil and grease, however, also comes with light debris, you would need to sweep first before having the floor scrubbed.
Keep in mind that cleaning your floor is not always a straightforward case as the employees can bring in a wide array of dirt. In some cases, you might find yourself having to spend more than an ample amount of time ensuring a clean floor. If this is the case, you should consider getting an industrial floor scrubber that comes with a sweeper in order to cut your cleaning time by half.
